The Harris County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) are seeking the public's help in identifying a body found in the Chattahoochee River in May 2002. The GBI's forensic artist has performed a clay reconstruction based on the dimensions of the skull.

Fishermen found the body in the river on May 23 just South of I-85 along the Georgia-Alabama state lines in Harris County, not far from Valley, Ala. Investigators say the unidentified person is an adult male, believed to be a light-skinned African American. He was around 6'1'' in height and weighed 180-190 pounds. A tattoo was located on the upper right arm, bearing the initials of "CEHJ". The death has been determined to be a homicide and may have taken place as early as mid-April 2002.

Anyone who has information on the possible identity of this man should contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office at 706-628-4211, the GBI at 1-800-597-TIPS (8477), or the GBI Greenville Regional Investigative Office at 706-655-5842.
