The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Perry Field Office, in conjunction with the GBI Cold Case Unit, and the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) are asking for the public’s help with information pertaining to the homicide of Shane Michael Friday. Friday was a run-away from Imlay City, Michigan. On September 27, 1991, Friday’s body was found along the I-75 northbound on-ramp at Exit 37 (now it’s Exit 112) by a passing truck driver. Friday was traveling on a bus to Orlando, Florida. Friday was wearing blue jeans, a white MC Hammer shirt, black British Knight tennis shoes, and a multi-colored poncho.
